How to maintain the metal band saw

Just as people need regular physical health checks, machines also need regular maintenance. Through equipment maintenance, it is possible to effectively improve equipment operating efficiency, prolong equipment life, reduce equipment loss, thereby increase productivity and reduce production costs. Therefore, the metal band saws that work hard for us every day also need regular maintenance to ensure that they continue to bring us profits.

Maintenance after work

1. Remove the iron filings gathered on the machine

2. Stop the saw band, turn on the cooling water switch, and use the cooling water spray gun to clean the workbench

3. After cleaning, lower the saw to the lowest position

Daily maintenance

Before operating the metal band saw, check according to the following procedures:

1. Check the hydraulic oil gauge to see if the amount of hydraulic oil exceeds the red line of L. When the hydraulic oil is lower than the red line of L, you need to add an appropriate amount of No. 32 anti-wear hydraulic oil, just pass the red line;

2. Check the coolant water meter to see if it exceeds the red line. When the cooling water is lower than the L red line, add appropriate cooling water;

3. Check whether the saw band is located between the left and right saw band wheels and the front and rear tungsten steel guide blades;

4. Check whether the wire brush is located at the root of the saw tooth;

5. Add mechanical oil to the movable clamp guide rail of the bed;

6. Add mechanical oil to the floating clamp guide of the feeding bed;

Monthly maintenance

1. Use a grease gun to inject grease into the oil nozzle of the tension slider

2. Use a grease gun to inject grease into the grease nozzle of the passive wheel

3. Use a grease gun to inject grease into the grease nozzle of the driving wheel

4. Use a grease gun to inject grease into the grease nozzle of the steel brush transmission seat

5. Grease the 2 grease nozzles of the gear box with a grease gun

Annual maintenance

The metal band sawing machine has been used for one year. In order to keep the sawing machine in good running condition, please replace: the gear oil in the gear box and the hydraulic oil in the hydraulic oil tank.
