Drilling machine operating procedures

1. Before operation, wear tight-fitting protective clothing, fasten the cuffs, and do not open the hem of the jacket. It is strictly forbidden to wear gloves. Do not wear, take off, or wrap your clothes around the machine to prevent the machine from being twisted. Safety helmets must be worn, braids should be put into the hat, no skirts, slippers.

2 . Before driving, check whether the machine tool transmission is normal, tools, electrical, and safety protection devices, whether the coolant baffle is intact, and the safety block on the drilling machine is not allowed to be removed. Adjust and use according to the processing conditions.

3. When the radial drilling machine is clamping or correcting the workpiece, the rocker arm must be moved away from the workpiece and raised, and the car must be braked. The work must be pressed or clamped with a pressure plate to avoid turning and hurting people.

4. Do not put other things on the surface of the drilling machine, and stop when changing drill bits, fixtures and loading and unloading workpieces. The taper shank with burrs and not clean is not allowed to be installed in the spindle taper hole. The wedge iron should be used for loading and unloading the drill bit, and it is strictly forbidden to hit with a hand hammer.

5. When drilling small workpieces, use a bench vise and clamp it before drilling. It is strictly forbidden to stop the rotating drill bit by hand.

6. When the thin plate, large or long workpiece is drilled vertically, it must be pressed firmly, and it is strictly prohibited to handle it by hand. When the workpiece is drilled, the pressure should be reduced slowly to prevent damage to the platform.

7. After the machine is started, it is strictly forbidden to wear gloves to operate, use a brush to remove iron filings, and do not blow with your mouth.

8 . Do not stack objects within the rotation range of the drill press and rocker arm, and keep them clean.

9 . After the work is completed, the power supply should be cut off, the drill bit should be removed, the spindle box must be close to the end, the cross arm should be lowered to the lower edge of the column, and the car should be braked to prevent accidents. At the same time, clean up the tools and do a good job of machine maintenance.
