1. CNC Control Panel：This is the machine’s human-machine interface (HMI). It features a display screen and keypad for programming, coordinate monitoring, and parameter setting, paired with a physical control panel below. The panel includes a red emergency stop button, mode selectors (auto/manual/MDI), feed/spindle override knobs, and axis control keys for safe, precise operation.

2. High-Speed Spindle Unit：The spindle is the core power component of the VMC855. Made of high-strength alloy steel, it typically uses a BT40 taper for tool holding, supported by precision angular contact bearings. It delivers stable high-speed rotation with minimal runout, enabling accurate milling, drilling, and tapping operations. The gold-colored internal mechanism is the tool clamping system, which works with the ATC for automatic tool changes.

3. Linear Guide & Ball Screw Drive System：This forms the machine’s motion system. The high-precision ball screw converts rotary motion into linear movement for the X/Y/Z axes, while the linear guideways (hardened and ground for wear resistance) ensure smooth, rigid movement. The VMC855’s standard travel is 850×500×500 mm, and the pre-stretched screw design minimizes thermal deformation for consistent accuracy during long runs.

4. OKADA 24-Tool Disc ATC：This is the automatic tool changer (ATC) by OKADA, a well-known brand in the industry. The disc-style tool magazine holds 24 tools (numbered 1–24) for fast, reliable tool swaps. It works with the spindle to reduce non-cutting time, supporting automated multi-process machining without manual tool changes.
